SYNOPSIS
The story follows José's life, from his early childhood in a remote forest community, his forced move to a remote village with an unhappy existence and his eventual migration to the city. His life intertwines with that of Mariano, his cousin. They treat each other like brothers, supporting each other, surviving as best they can in the face of the deprivations caused by a racist society. Thrown into crime, they find themselves immersed in a labyrinth that is almost impossible to get out of, and only one of them will survive.
